Beautiful vintage Dingley 3 1/4" St. George style fly reel made for J.J.S. Walker Bampton & Co. in Alnwick, England.
11/16" wide ventilated spool. 2 1/4" full length brass foot. Strong drag check. Ebonite handle.
Marked "J.J.S. Walker Bampton & Co. Makers Alnwick" on back of reel.
Inside reel as well as back of spool have a "1" stamping.
Reel retains almost all of its original leaded finish. Some typical light wear around rim.
Great opportunity to put a classic fly reel on the water with your favorite bamboo rod.
