Beautiful Thomas Special 9' Streamer Rod, made in 1935. Weighs 6 1/4 oz.
This 3pc 2 tip full length rod appears to be all original with the exception of one signature wrap.
All full length sections; Full cork slide band seat is in great condition. Agate stripping guide.
The rod does have a lot of bag marks and old chips in the varnish. I'm sure a lot of it could be polished out, or just fish it for a few years as it is and have the original varnish removed and a fresh coat applied to make this rod pretty close to brand new again.
You don't see too many full length tip rods anymore, and the Streamer taper is one of the most loved tapers ever from this shop, and an absolute dream to cast.
Comes with the original bag and brass capped aluminum tube. Original tube decal has about 50% remaining.
