Vintage F.E. Thomas Special 2pc Dry Fly Rod

Here an increasingly rare one. A vintage, c1941 Thomas Special Dry Fly trout rod.
This super light, 2pc, 2 tip, 3 1/4 oz. rod is all full length and original.
Beautiful light swelled butt, and fine tips. Full cork slide band reel seat. Grip is nearly as smooth as it probably was when new.
Rod has a few bag marks, the stripping guide is slightly bent, and a little soiling on the grip and seat from use, but it is perfectly fishable just as it is.
The only downside to the tube, although slight, is that the brass cap must have been stuck on the tube at some point because the cap has what looks like plier marks on it, as well as marks on the aluminum tube. The tube works just fine now.
Comes with original green cloth bag, and original brass capped tube with about 5% of the Thomas decal remaining.
This is a golden opportunity to fish one of the best casting Thomas rods ever made.
