Very rarely seen Hardy 3 7/8" St. John Fly Reel with a Wartime enamel finish, and Spitfire spool.
3 screw latch. 15/16" wide spool. 2 9/16" full length brass ribbed foot. Adj drag MkII check with spare.
JS (Jimmy Smith) maker marks. Curved writing on back. Nearly all original finish remains. Nice loud drag clicker.
Comes with original Hardy marked clamshell hard leather case in excellent condition as well.
You won't see reels like this one very often. Ready for Atlantic Salmon fishing!
