Vintage 1930s Pflueger Medalist Model 1494 fly reel. 3 1/4" diameter. 13/16" wide spool.
Very early Patent Pending model with sculpted pillars and round metal line guide. Amber handle and metal center spool latch.
Full length painted brass foot. Adjustable drag with nickel knurled knob.
Some paint loss but retains the majority of its original finish.
These early handmade Pflueger's are getting very hard to find.
