Nice vintage 1948 Thomas Dirigo, 8 1/2' 3/2, 5 1/4 oz. fly rod.
All full length, Straight and original, other than one tip top looks like it's a replacement.
This rod was owned by Red Sox Hall of Fame 3rd Baseman Larry Gardner, who played in the majors from 1908-1924 and was a 4-time World Series Champion. The rod comes to us from his son.
Comes with original labeled Thomas tube and bag.
Getting hard to find full length Thomas' these days, and this one was owned by a prominent sports legend.
