Vintage, circa 1941 F.E. Thomas Browntone, 7 1/2', 4oz., 2pc, 2 tip Dry Fly rod.
This beautiful rod has flamed bamboo with swelled butt, blued nickel hardware, and a downlocking aluminum seat.
Rod has 1 tip that is short by 2 1/4", and 1 re-wrapped guide, otherwise completely original, down to the green cloth bag that still has the original hang tag, and original brass capped aluminum tube.
This is one of the most desirable rods that have ever come from the Thomas shop, and it is ready to fish.
